Usage Note
Strickweste is a knitted sleeveless top or waistcoat, typically worn as a warm layer over a shirt. It differs from Strickjacke (cardigan) in having no sleeves. A classic layering piece in German autumn/winter wardrobes, available in wool, cotton, or acrylic blends.
