Usage Note

Regelkunde refers to a player's or official's thorough knowledge of a sport's regulations. Regelkundeprüfung (rules examination) is taken by referee candidates. Mangelnde Regelkunde (poor rules knowledge) is a criticism of novice players or coaches.
