Usage Note
Parteitag is the assembly of a party's delegates, from Partei and Tag (day, in the sense of a diet or assembly). It is masculine. It elects the leadership, adopts the programme and decides resolutions (Anträge); a Bundesparteitag gathers delegates from the whole country.
