Usage Note
Beileibe is used almost exclusively in negative constructions — beileibe nicht ('by no means') — to emphatically deny something. It is more emphatic than keineswegs and has a slightly elevated, literary tone. Learned speakers use it for rhetorical emphasis in argument.
