Usage Note

Zyste is a closed sac-like structure filled with fluid, air, or semi-solid material that can form in various organs. Most cysts are benign and require no treatment, but they may be monitored by Ultraschall (ultrasound). Ovarian cysts (Eierstockszysten) are especially common.
