Usage Note
Staffelmiete is a rental agreement in which the rent increases by a fixed amount at pre-agreed intervals — for example, 30 euros more per year for five years. It must be written into the Mietvertrag and gives both parties planning certainty, but can be controversial in high-demand markets.
