Usage Note

Litschi is feminine: die Litschi. Sold in German supermarkets fresh (rarely), tinned, and dried. The tinned version (Litschi aus der Dose) is common in Chinese restaurants and at home. The rough red skin is peeled to reveal the translucent fruit.
