Usage Note
Leiharbeitnehmer are employed by a staffing agency (Zeitarbeitsfirma) but deployed ('lent') to client companies. Regulated by the Arbeitnehmerüberlassungsgesetz (AÜG); duration of placement is capped at 18 months. Also called Zeitarbeiter.
