Usage Note
Ballwechsel is the standard German term for a rally in racket sports — the sequence of shots between service and the point's end. Ein langer Ballwechsel (a long rally) is admired for stamina and skill. Not to be confused with Wechsel (substitution) or Ballbesitz (ball possession).
