Sei es drum expresses resigned acceptance of a situation — 'so be it, I'll accept that'. It is a fixed colloquial phrase with a fatalistic undertone: Er will nicht kommen? Sei es drum! It is slightly more emphatic than egal and has a mildly old-fashioned, literary flavour in modern speech.
