Usage Note

noch means 'still' or 'yet' and pairs with nicht for 'not yet' (noch nicht) and kein for 'no longer any'. As a particle it adds 'another/more', as in noch ein Bier ('another beer'). The phrase noch nie means 'never yet, never before'.
