Usage Note
deutschsprachig describes people, countries, or media that operate in German: der deutschsprachige Raum ('the German-speaking area', i.e. Germany, Austria, Switzerland). Distinguish it from deutsch ('German' by nationality) and deutschsprachig meaning merely 'in the German language'. The first element is lowercase here because it is part of a compound adjective.
Examples
"Österreich ist ein deutschsprachiges Land."
Natural Translation
Austria is a German-speaking country.
