Usage Note
Verfassungsklage (or Verfassungsbeschwerde) is a legal action brought before the Federal Constitutional Court alleging that a public act has violated a fundamental right. Any person can file one after exhausting ordinary legal remedies. Germany receives tens of thousands each year; very few are admitted.
