Sehnenriss is the partial or complete tearing of a tendon. The most common in German-speaking countries is the Achillessehnenriss (Achilles tendon rupture), often occurring during sport. Treatment may be conservative with a cast or surgical. A Sehnenzerrung is a lesser strain.
