Usage Note
Leserbriefseite is the page or section of a newspaper or magazine devoted to letters from readers. It is one of the oldest forms of audience participation in journalism. Editors select and sometimes shorten letters; in Germany, published letters must carry the writer's full name and city, as a matter of press convention.
