Usage Note
Heizungsraum is the room housing a central-heating boiler (Heizkessel) or heat pump (Wärmepumpe). In apartment buildings it is typically locked and accessible only to the Hausverwaltung or heating technician. Sometimes called Heizkeller when in the basement.
